Lose 10 Pounds in 3 Days - A Joke Right?

I have seen a recent post about how to lose 10 pounds in 3 days, I have to say that I totally disagree as it is possibly quite dangerous to the body. Having seen one of the day's menu and read the comments I can see that a lot of people are quite skeptical about it - and rightly so.

This diet works on chemical breakdown and is supposedly 'proven'.

I will let you know what day 1 is:

Breakfast: Black coffee or tea, ½ grapefruit, 1 slice toast, 2tbsp. Peanut butter.

Lunch: ½ cup tuna, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea.

Dinner: 7 slices any type of meat (about 3 ozs). 1 cup of string beans, 1-cup beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream.

Not much right. I think this type of starvation diet is both unhealthy and will 'starve the system' so you will probably end up putting on more weight.

My advice to you is stick to the lose 10 pounds in 10 days plans, it's a bit more realistic.
